Tourist found in possession of bullets deported

Bullets have been discovered on a tourist who had gone to Velana International Airport for departure.

Police said that a case was reported to them over bullets being discovered on a tourist who had gone to the airport for departure, on last Wednesday.

They detailed that following an investigation, the tourist has now been deported back to the country of origin.

No further information regarding the case has been disclosed by the Police.

Sun has learned the tourist who got arrested with bullets in possession was an Israeli. A total of 15 bullets was discovered in the tourist’s suitcase.
