The Chinese government and Maldives Police Service have signed an Exchange of Notes regarding the provision of equipment assistance by the Chinese government to Maldives Police Service.
The Exchange of Notes was signed at a special ceremony held today, by the Chinese Ambassador to Maldives Wang Lixin and Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed.

As part of this agreement, China’s Ministry of Public Security will donate to Maldives Police Service a batch of information equipment to include computers and servers
Embassy of China in the Maldives said that the equipment will help Maldives Police Service strengthen capacity building, enhance law enforcement efficiency and reinforce crime combating so as to make Maldives a safer country.
