MTCC awarded coastal protection project in Kunburudhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded a project to design and build shore protection structures in ADh. Kunburudhoo. 

The contract was signed by Planning Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Hameed and MTCC’s COO Shahid Hussain Moosa in a ceremony at the Planning Ministry headquarters in Male’ on Wednesday afternoon.

The coastal protection project in Kunburudhoo involves dredging the lagoon area, building a 170-meter revetment, a 57-meter quay wall, a nine-meter-long ramp, paving a 250-square meter area, and installing light fixtures at the harbor area. 

The project is valued at MVR 9.61 million.  

MTCC was contracted to complete the project within 150 days.
