Amin Contruction awarded housing project in Vilufushi

Planning Ministry, on Thursday, contracted Amin Construction to complete the housing project in Th. Vilufushi. 

The project involves the completion of 64 housing units in the island, and construction of 36 new housing units on design and build basis. 

The contract for the project were signed by Director-General of Planning Ministry’s Housing Department, Ahmed Wishan Naseem and Amin Construction’s Managing Director Abdulla Mohamed on Thursday morning. 

The project was originally awarded to Noomadi in 2011, but was halted in 2016. 

The project is valued at MVR 82.5 million, and will be financed through the Public Sector Invesment Program (PSIP) budget for 2021. 

Amin Construction is contracted to complete the work within 240 days.
