Four arrested for allegedly stealing from a tourist’s luggage

Four individuals have been arrested for allegedly stealing from a tourist’s luggage who had gone to GA. Kooddoo Airport for departure.

As per the Police, a large sum of money being stolen from a tourist’s luggage at Kooddoo Airport was reported to them sometime yesterday.

The Police also confirmed that four individuals have been arrested in connection to the case. Their identities have been revealed as all Maldivian males – aged 31, 32, 36, and 37.

In their efforts to recover the money stoles, the Police have managed to retrieve a total of € 10,000 as of present – which has been handed over to its owner.

The Police noted that they are investigating the matter further.
