MTCC completes Henbadhoo shore protection project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has successfully completed the design and build of shore protection structures at N. Henbadhoo.

Work under this project included leveling the ground in the area – for which the company had used 5.000 cubic meters of sand.

It also saw the construction of groynes of 25 meters along with the construction of a rock boulder revetment of 235 meters. Geotextiles were also installed at a 235-meter area.

Physical work on this project had commenced on April 7  - and work on the project was fully completed on August 2. 

The project is valued at MVR 5 million.
