An individual has been injured after a gas cylinder exploded inside a house in Henveiru of Male' City.
The incident happened inside a house near the State Bank of India branch in Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Henveiru.
Police said that the injured individual was treated at the ADK Hospital. Police are also now at the scene.
No further details of the incident are yet available.
The location is in close proximity to the site of a massive fire last August, which fully destroyed a building.
