A piece of debris that fell from a building in Male’ City has injured a passerby.

MA. Gomashige injured a man who was passing by. Police said that the injured man was taken to the hospital around 10:40. Details of the injuries are currently unavailable.

Previous instances of falling debris injuring pedestrians in Male’ City have been reported. In 2018, a sack of cement that fell from a building under construction near Gadiburu killed a child.
