IGMH will recommence OPD services as the country begins easing the lockdown order on the capital which was imposed due to COVID-19.
IGMH said that the services were not resumed due to a lack of danger from COVID-19. There was still a very real danger of the virus, said the hospital.
The hospital sees OPD services for other illnesses as important, read the statement by the Hospital.
Online consultation would still be conducted. IGMH said that the appointments would be made with a special doctor from the department.
Symptoms of flue such as coughing or fever should still be consulted with Flu Clinic.
Hospital visiting would still not be allowed. Only one person would be allowed to wait at the hospital to assist a patient.
Children should also not be brought to the hospital for other purposes than consultation.
Routine operations preplanned would still be suspended and the hospital would still screen visitors.
