Nine more COVID-19 patients recover

National Emergency Operations Center, on Saturday, announced that nine more COVID-19 patients had made full recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 29.

The announcement was made by spokesperson Mabrouq Azeez at a NEOC press briefing on Saturday night.

“The number of people who have been treated and have recovered has risen to 29. And the number of people who remain under treatment is 751," said Mabrouq.

Mabrouq said that of the 29 who recovered, 16 are Maldivian nationals and 13 are foreign nationals.

Maldives, on Saturday, saw 39 new cases, increasing total cases to 785. Three have died from complications.
