Man in need of medical attention in Male' city road taken to IGMH

A man who was in need of medical assistance on a road in Male’ city has been taken to IGMH by Police.

Police stated that reports of the migrant in a road near Pizza Buona in Male’ city were received around 19:00. The man was exhibiting symptoms of fever when he was taken to IGMH by ambulance.

No word from the hospital is yet available on the matter.

HPA has requested anyone with symptoms of the Covid-19 to report to the authorities as soon as possible. The government is also undertaking stringent measures against the spread of the virus in the country. The country has so far confirmed 13 cases of the virus, out of which three have recovered.
