Over MVR 234,000 stolen from Food Solutions

Robbers broke into the International Food Solutions headquarters and stole MVR 234,923 in cash stored inside a money safe in a robbery in Male' City this Monday morning.

Maldives Police Service says the robbery was reported to the agency at 8:42 am this Monday.

The agency reports that the robbers, in addition to the MVR 234,923 stored inside the money safe, also stole an unspecified amount of cash kept inside several drawers.
