Construction company fined MVR 500K over fatal construction accident

The construction company involved in a fatal construction accident at a site in Hulhumale’ on February 17 has been fined by MVR 500,000.

The accident resulted in the death of a migrant worker who was hit by a brick which fell from the fifth floor of the construction site.
