White Alert issued from R. Atoll to G. Dh. Atoll

White Alert has been issued to a large part of Maldives over heavy rain and thunderstorms

Maldives Meteorological Service has issued the White Alert to islands from R. Atoll to G. Dh. Atoll.

The agency forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms with gusts of up to 35 miles per hour over the region.

The White Alert has been issued from 7 am to 1 pm this Thursday.

Maldives Meteorological Service also forecasts scattered rain with few heavy showers and thunderstorms throughout the country.
