BML opens applications for 25 tech interns

Bank of Maldives (BML) on Monday opened applications for 25 tech interns under its one-year Internship Program, offering young Maldivians the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience across technology and non-technology areas of the bank.

According to BML, its internship program provides practical experience through live projects, mentorship and exposure to different functions of the bank.

Selected interns will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000, Ramadan bonus, 15 days of paid annual leave and 10 days of leave for medical or family emergencies.

The bank states that high-performing interns may also be considered for permanent employment opportunities.

Applications are open to Maldivians above 18 years of age who are pursuing or have completed a technology-related qualification, as well as individuals with relevant technical skills.

Applications close on October 22.

Since its launch in 2018, the BML internship program has welcomed 98 interns across seven batches, with 60 percent securing permanent positions at the bank.
