An individual has reportedly fallen from the upper floor apartment in the Aman towers, also known as Fahi flats, residential units developed by the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
A police spokesperson said in a brief message on Tuesday afternoon that the incident took place at Aman Udhares 8.
The police are operating at the scene, said the spokesperson, adding that further details would be shared later.
The latest case comes after two children fell from residential buildings in Hulhumale’ Phase II a little over month back, resulting in a fatality in one case and critical injuries in the other.
A 16-year-old girl sustained critical injuries after falling from an Amaan Udhares tower on September 31, while a two-year-old girl died after falling from a STELCO flat the very next day.
The incidents prompted the FDC to roll out safety measures, including providing assistance in installing window stoppers at the Aman towers.
