SSTV signs as media partner for Fiyavana Charity Show by local artists

Sun Siyam Media has officially partnered as the media partner for the 'Kaalaamanna Presents Fiyavana Charity Show', an initiative by Maldivian artists aimed at supporting children in need.

The agreement was signed during a special ceremony held at Sun Siyam Media on Monday by Ahmed Muaz, head of Kaalaamanna Academy, and Mohamed Zaheen, Chief Content Officer of Sun Siyam Media.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kaalaamanna Academy Executive Committee member and renowned actor Ismail Rasheed (Copy Isse) said the initiative is a talent-driven effort aimed at providing essential assistance to vulnerable children. He emphasized that the show seeks to encourage generous contributions from artists to support children facing various challenges.

“We are currently identifying and visiting the homes of these children. Our system is designed to be highly transparent, ensuring that the aid reaches the children directly,” he said.

The event has been scheduled for Friday, October 9.

Executive Committee member Ahmed Ibrahim (Ammadey) said the event will feature a variety of activities, including afternoon programmes and evening entertainment. He described the event as a carnival-style festival featuring a range of stalls.

He further explained that the primary objective of the initiative, both through the show and beyond it, is to address the specific needs of children.

“There are numerous challenges faced by children, from nursery to UKG levels. For instance, many children with autism in schools lack access to necessary resources. Our goal is to identify these needs and provide the required support,' he stated.

During the ceremony, Sun Siyam Media’s CCO Mohamed Zaheen expressed his appreciation to Kaalamanna Academy for the opportunity to provide media coverage for the initiative. He assured that SSTV would extend its full cooperation and support to the event, emphasizing the importance of assisting children in need.
