Massive cleanup removes 670 tonnes of garbage near Aman Dhoadhi flats

More than 600 tonnes of garbage have been removed from the area where the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) is building and maintaining flats in the second phase of Hulhumale'.

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) carried out the cleanup of the waste accumulated in the FDC flat area.

HDC Director Malsha Shareef wrote on X that 670 tonnes of garbage were removed during the operation.

The remaining waste in the FDC flat area will be cleared by the HDC team early on Sunday.

FDC, HDC, Police and HPA joined forces with public volunteers living in the area for the cleanup.

It is important to note that most of the waste accumulated in the area comes from residents who recently moved in, as well as debris left behind from the ongoing construction and finishing work of the FDC flats.
