Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has announced its participation in the "Maldives Financial Expo 2026," organized by the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), marking the return of the event after a nine-year hiatus.
The expo will take place at Hulhumalé Central Park from Thursday to Saturday. MIB's exhibition stalls will be open to the public daily from 15:00pm to 18:00pm and from 20:00pm to 22:00pm.
MIB stated that, under the theme "Empowering Sustainable Futures: Inclusion, Innovation, and Intelligence," visitors to its stalls will have access to a range of specialized and streamlined banking services. These include instant account opening within seconds, on-the-spot card issuance, and comprehensive internet banking assistance.
The bank will also provide detailed information on its portfolio of Shariah-compliant financing solutions designed to meet the needs of both individual and business customers.
As the Maldives' first Islamic bank, MIB said its primary focus remains on delivering convenient, secure, and customer-centric digital banking services.
The bank noted that the expo, which is expected to attract thousands of visitors, offers an opportunity for the public to experience firsthand the latest developments in the Maldivian financial sector. MIB also encouraged the public to take advantage of the event.
Organized by the MMA, the Financial Expo is a key initiative aimed at strengthening the Maldivian financial system while promoting greater financial literacy among the public.
