Hulhumalé Hospital has launched outpatient nursing services aimed at improving access to healthcare by streamlining the delivery of routine nursing care.

The service was launched by Malé City Group of Hospitals (MCGH)’s CEO Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem during a ceremony held at the hospital. It is intended to provide the public with more convenient and efficient access to essential nursing services while reducing waiting times and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Accordingly, patients can receive a range of routine nursing procedures without the need for a standard doctor's consultation. They include:

  • Administration of injections
  • Wound dressing and care
  • Nebulization
  • Fetal heart rate monitoring
  • Blood sampling and blood donation services
  • Blood glucose monitoring

Hulhumalé Hospital stated that the outpatient nursing services will be available daily, from 8:00am to 11:00pm.
