Nasif, previously removed from HDC and transferred to WAMCO, now joins MACL board

Former Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Chairman Ahmed Nasif has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).

MACL announced in a post on Wednesday that Nasif had been appointed to the position. No further details were provided.

Nasif served as HDC’s chairman under the current administration.

He was removed from the post on March 5 last year and transferred to the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO).

Nasif had previously served as the Managing Director of HDC during the administration of former President Abdulla Yameen. He also served as the Managing Director of the former Thilafushi Corporation.
