MNDF warns vessels to stay alert as debris from a boat drifts in the Gulhi-Fushidhiggaru channel

The MNDF has issued a warning to vessels travelling through the channel between K. Gulhi and Fushidhiggaru lagoon to remain vigilant, as debris from a vessel has been spotted floating in the area.

According to the MNDF Coast Guard, the items are believed to be drifting east of the channel.

Travellers are therefore advised to exercise extra caution, especially when navigating the area at night.

MNDF has repeatedly urged seafarers to stay alert for floating debris from vessels during such incidents.
