Yoosuf Waheed dismissed from HDC’s board

Yoosuf Waheed has been dismissed from the board of directors of Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) stated that Yoosuf was dismissed on Monday.

However, it did not provide a reason for the decision.

Yoosuf, who holds the position of Chief Internal Auditor at SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), was appointed to the board of directors of HDC in September 2024.

He has a Master of Professional Accounting and Finance degree from the University of South Australia, Australia, and also holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree with a specialization in finance.

He is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and also a fellow member of CA Maldives, and has over 15 years of experience in accounting, audit and risk management in both public and private sectors.
