Opportunities are open for Maldivian businesses to showcase and market their products at the Sri Lanka Expo 2026, which is scheduled to kick off in Colombo in June.

Sri Lanka Expo 2026 – the country’s premier international trade exhibition – is scheduled to take place from June 18-21 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

The event is organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.

In an announcement on Monday, the Maldivian Economic Ministry said that the Sri Lankan government has invited Maldivian businesses to join the expo.

The four-day Sri Lanka Expo will feature business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, product showcases and sector-focused exhibitions.

According to the Maldivian Economic Ministry, the expo will feature products in four key categories; tourism, agriculture, food and beverage, and services.

The expo is expected to bring together over 750 exhibitors and over 2,000 international buyers across 50 countries.

Additional information regarding the expo is available on the official website.
