Fuvahmulah man missing since November

Police are searching for a man from Fuvahmulah City who has been missing since November last year.

In a statement on Tuesday, the police said that Abdul Azeez Mohamed, 64, Dhunfinige, Dhoodigan, Fuvahmulah City, was reported missing to the authorities by his family.

Abdul Azeez works for cargo boats.

According to the police, the family last made contact with Abdul Azeez via phone call on September 3. He was last seen by a member of his family in November from near the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ City.

The police said that they shared his information with other relevant agencies and began searching for him as soon as they received the missing persons report, but have not been able to gather any information regarding his whereabouts.

The police asked for anyone with information regarding Abdul Azeez to contact the agency at 3322111 or the Fuvahmulah Police Station at 9792803.
