Fraudulent website exploits unsuspecting tourists

The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has expressed concern over the emergence of a fraudulent website impersonating a legitimate entry system for travelers to the Maldives. Abdulla Ghiyas, the president of MATATO, sent a letter to the Tourism Ministry, Maldives Immigration and Maldives Police Service urging action against the website on Wednesday.
