BML opens new branch in Nolhivaranfaru

Bank of Maldives (BML)’s new branch in HDh. Nolhivaranfaru was officially inaugurated on Tuesday.

The branch features a new self-service banking ATM centre in addition to in-person banking services.

The establishment of the new branch and the ATM centre further strengthens the bank’s commitment to enhancing financial inclusion through accessible banking services across the Maldives.

The inauguration ceremony of the branch was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, cabinet ministers, and senior officials from BML, including Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb and CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.

Shareef said the bank is immensely proud to launch its new branch in Nolhivaranfaru which will offer the bank’s Islamic finance first policy for both individual and business customers.

“By expanding access to banking services, we are driving sustainable economic growth in our vibrant communities and enabling financial inclusion across the country,” he added.

This strategic growth enhances the Bank’s status as the Maldives' leading financial institution, supported by a comprehensive network of 42 branches across all 20 atolls, 151 Self-Service Banking Centres, 209 ATMs, and cutting-edge digital banking services.
