President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Monday officially inaugurated Bank of Maldives (BML)’s new self-service banking ATM at Dh. Maaenboodhoo.

The ATM was inaugurated during President Muizzu’s visit to Maaenboodhoo in the morning as part of his ongoing tour of Dh. Atoll. He was accompanied by BML’s CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.

Shareef said that the introduction of ATM services in Maaenboodhoo is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance banking accessibility nationwide.

“With this launch, we are addressing challenges faced by residents due to the absence of an ATM, ensuring they now have easy and reliable access to banking services,” he said. “This is part of our Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM project, our commitment to expanding ATM services across the Maldives.”
