Water supply resumed to Hiyaa towers after resolving issue

Water supply has been resumed to Hiyaa towers after it was cut off earlier Friday following a water pipe burst.

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said water supply was cut off to Hiyaa towers one to eight following the water pipe burst.

Prior to this, HDC said they were working alongside Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) to resolve the issue before 6:00pm. They announced that the issue was resolved at 5:11pm.

Videos and photos circulating on social media show the area flooded following the pipe burst.
