Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) states three people who were stranded at sea after the dinghy they were aboard overturned on Friday morning, have been rescued after almost three hours.
MNDF, via post on X, said the three aboard the dinghy had ventured to the sea for reef fishing.
They received information that the dinghy overturned at approximately 6:11am this morning.

MNDF detailed that they found the overturned dingy almost three hours later at 9:23am,
Photos and videos shared by the MNDF show the passengers on top of the overturned dinghy.
All three of them were rescued by the authority.
No further details regarding the incident have been disclosed.
