The 149th IPU Assembly is taking place from October 13th to October 17th.

IPU is the global organization of national parliaments.

Incepted in 1889 as a small group of parliamentarians dedicated to promoting peace through parliamentary diplomacy and dialogue, IPU has since grown into a mega global organization with 180 members and 15 associate members.
