BML donates MVR 200,000 to Cancer Society

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated MVR 200,000 to the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM).

According to the BML, it made the donation in support of initiatives to increase cancer awareness and provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families.

On Friday, the BML supported the annual ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ organized by Cancer Society. The event was held at Central Park in Hulhumale’ and in 11 islands with over 2,400 registered participants.

The ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ is held annually to raise public awareness on breast cancer and promoting early detection.

BML has been supporting Cancer Society and the ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ since 2016.
