Kulhudhuffushi man’s body brought back to Male’ following postmortem

The body of the man found dead in the Kulhudhuffushi City’s lagoon has been brought back to Male’ on Friday following the completion of postmortem.

Mohamed Hassan, 36, Daisyfehi, Kulhudhuffushi, was found dead in the lagoon of the city on the morning of September 11^th.  His body was taken to the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, which confirmed he was already deceased.

In a message to the media on Friday, Police said the body of the man found dead in Kulhudhuffushi lagoon was brought back to Male’ on Friday following the completion of postmortem.

His body was transported aboard for postmortem last week as further investigation was required regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.

Mohamed Hassan’s funeral will be held after Asr prayers on Friday as per the Facebook page sharing funeral details.

Police have not disclosed any further details regarding his death.
