Four injured in Fuvahmulah after glass sheets shatter during unloading

Four people who were unloading glass sheets from a boat in Fuvahmulah City sustained injuries on Saturday, after the sheets they were carrying fell and shattered to pieces.

A police spokesperson said the incident was reported to the police at around 09:32 am Saturday.

The incident resulted in injuries to four people; two locals and two expatriates.

They were taken to the Fuvahmulah Hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unclear at this point.

Police said they are looking into the incident.
