Police probe alleged pornographic video shoot at Rasdhoo by tourists

Maldives Police Service has launched a probe over the alleged pornographic video shoot at AA. Rasdhoo by tourists.

In a message to the media, Police said they had not received a case or complaint over such a matter in an official capacity, however, was launching an investigation in light of allegations circulating on social media.

The case of a group of Russian tourists shooting pornographic videos in public spaces in Rasdhoo and publicizing them on the internet came to light earlier today.

Rasdhoo Council member Abdul Jaleel Moosa who spoke to Sun regarding the matter noted seeing such allegations on social media, however, said it had not come to the attention of the residents when the video shoot had taken place.  

He added the incident took place recently.
