HDC seeks party to develop 15 parking buildings in Hulhumale'

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Thursday has announced it was seeking an interested contractor to develop 15 parking buildings in Hulhumale'.

It offered the opportunity to submit expression of interest (EOI) for the development to ensure equal opportunity for all intersted parties.

This project's preferred model is EPC+F (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Finance) model. HDC however said, this does not restrict proponents from submitting other models in their proposals so long as the proposed model is beneficial to both parties.

HDC further said that in the event of more than one proposal, it would proceed with the EOI that most aligns with the corporation's vision, strategic objectives, and master plan. Proponents will be evaluated based on the proposed business model, experience, team, financial stability, capability, and CSR.

Interested proponents are encouraged to submit their EOI via email or to HDC's address on or before September 16, 2024.

The development of high-rise parking structures is the latest of the current government's efforts to provide a long-term solution to parking space constaints.
