Telecom operator Dhiraagu has renewed its corporate membership with Maldivian Red Crescent’s ‘Partners for Humanity Initiative’ for 2024-2025, pledging continued support to the humanitarian work carried out by the organization.

Dhiraagu has been a corporate member of Maldivian Red Crescent since 2018. It renewed its corporate membership with the Maldivian Red Crescent on Monday, on World Humanitarian Day.

Dhiraagu said that by renewing its corporate membership, the company will continue to support and aid humanitarian work by Maldivian Red Crescent across Maldives, including in providing first aid, psychosocial support, and disaster relief, as well as in training Maldivian Red Crescent’s volunteers and enhancing the services of the organization’s units across Maldives.

Dhiraagu’s Brand and Marketing Communications Director Mohamed Mirushan Hassan said the company was delighted to renew its partnership with the Maldivian Red Crescent, especially as it comes on World Humanitarian Day.

“I take this opportunity to commend the Maldivian Red Crescent’s team and volunteers for their valuable humanitarian services and assure you of Dhiraagu’s continued commitment to supporting these efforts,” he added.

The Maldivian Red Crescent thanked Dhiraagu for its continued support.

“We appreciate your continuous partnership and support, which has empowered us to reach the most vulnerable across the country,” said the aid group.
