BML reopens applications for ‘Bank Fund’ to support community projects

Bank of Maldives (BML) has reopened applications for its ‘Bank Fund’ – a program launched by the national bank to empower local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects.

With the decision, the deadline has now been extended to 04:00 pm on September 8. The application form and proposal must be emailed to [email protected].

BML’s ‘Bank Fund’ is opened for registered NGOs, charity organizations and clubs.

The ‘Bank Fund’ supports sustainable and innovative projects in the thematic areas of

  • Education
  • Environment
  • Sports
  • Community development

Every year, five projects selected will receive MVR 200,000 each.

The ‘Bank Fund’ was launched in May.
