Former President Solih’s mother passes away

Former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s mother, Moomina Hassanfulhu, has passed away on Thursday morning.

She was 80-years-old at the time of passing.

Moomina has 12 children including Solih. They include former Hulhumale’ MP Ali Niyaz, Majeedhiyaa School’s Principal Aishath Mohamed Solih, Fathimath Solih who served as personal secretary to former presidents Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom and Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom and three others, who are visually impaired.

Condolences have flowed to the family following Moomina’s passing.
