Yameen summoned to court in bribery, laundering case

Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom has been summoned to appear before the Criminal Court later this month in relation to bribery and money laundering charges filed against him by the state. A summons issued by the court on Thursday instructed Yameen to appear at 9:15am on September 29th. Yameen has been summoned for a hearing on pre-trial submissions in the case
