Police said they received a report of the vessel, with three Somalians aboard, washing up on N. Vavathi on Saturday morning.

No further details were disclosed by the authority.

Although the Police have not disclosed any information regarding their health, they seem to be in good health according to the photos.

Maldives is located east of Somalia. It is likely that the dinghy had washed up after being cast adrift. However, no authority, in official capacity, has confirmed why the dinghy was cast adrift.
