President Muizzu meets head of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development

Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).

Al Suwaidi paid a courtesy call on President Muizzu in Dubai on Monday, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit.

During the meeting, President Muizzu and Al Suwaidi discussed the long-standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the generous contributions from the Abu Dhabi Fund for the development of the Maldives.

President Muizzu expressed gratitude for the continuous assistance provided by the fund to the Maldives.

Meanwhile, Al Suwaidi reaffirmed ADFD’s commitment to supporting the Maldives in its development efforts.

The two also discussed areas of cooperation, and the progress of ongoing developmental projects supported by the fund.

They also discussed enhancing cooperation in the tourism, agriculture, health, economic, and development sectors.
