'Ties with Bangladesh based on mutual understanding'

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu states the close and cordial relations between Maldives and Bangladesh are underlined by mutual understanding, commitment to regional peace and stability and people-to-people connections.  He made the remark in letters addressed to Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Chief Adviser of the interim Government Dr. Mohamed Yunus on the occasion of the 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh. In his message,
