Dhiraagu launches futuristic themed 2024 calendar

Dhiraagu has launched the company’s 2024 calendar, ‘Into the Future’.

The calendar was by Education Minister Dr. Ismail Shafeeu during a special event held on Wednesday. The launching event, attended by the senior management of Dhiraagu, school students, their parents, and other special invitees, also marked the company’s 35-year journey of enriching lives and driving the digital transformation of the Maldives.

‘Into the Future’ calendar, themed around the futuristic concept of 'Digital Raajje,' offers a unique perspective into the future as envisioned by a young child. It showcases the essence of a digitally advanced society, teeming with possibilities and convenience, fueled by technological advancements, through imaginative artwork.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister Shafeeu cited Dhiraagu as a pioneer in driving the digital journey of the Maldives and empowering young children and youth to advance into the field of digitalization and technology. He also underscored that the company is well-known for its different, much-awaited calendars, adding the ‘Into the Future’ calendar was no different.

Dhiraagu’s Chief Commercial Officer Ali Riyaz said the ‘Digital Raajje’ envisioned in the calendar is the goal that the company strives for. In this trajectory, he detailed the company’s endeavors to make the lives of people living in the Maldives more convenient. He also expressed hope for the calendar to inspire today’s young generation to dream bigger to create a better future.

Notably, the ‘Into the Future’ calendar features 12 Snapchat games related to the artwork, which will be unlocked monthly. Users can scan the Snapcode on the calendar to play the game. They also stand a chance to win a tech bundle as a gift by posting a screenshot of their score on Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter with the hashtag #DhiraaguCalendarGames. A lucky draw to select an overall winner from the three platforms will be held every three months.

Dhiraagu reiterated their commitment to leading the Maldivian digital transformation journey and enriching people’s lives in the Maldives.
