The weekend’s program is as follows:
Ooredoo Drone Race (08:00 am-11:00 am)
Ooredoo Drone Race 2023 – the first ever drone race to be held in the Maldives - will kick off Ooredoo Fun Run Day, at 08:00 am Friday, at Hulhumale' Central Park.
The race will see pilots from two dynamic categories: Sky Elite (FPV Drone) pilots and Sky Walker (DJI Non-FPV Drones), where pilots who advanced from the qualifying round will navigate their drones through a challenging course.
The race will be a timed race where participants will compete to complete the race in the shortest possible time.
Competitors participating in the Sky Walker and Sky Elite categories of Ooredoo Drone Race 2023 will be honored with exclusive prizes, recognizing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in this exciting drone challenge.
Ooredoo Fun Run (03:30 pm-06:00 pm)
Ooredoo Fun Run – described by Ooredoo as the “biggest and happiest” run in the Maldives - is a fun-filled 5K run designed to be enjoyed by families and friends of all ages.
As an untimed and fun-filled 5K, the event welcomes both new and experienced runners to join in the excitement.
Each kilometer covered will be celebrated with a unique fun station with colors, water and fun obstacles.
As the run is not a timed event, participants can choose to walk, jog, run or dance to the finish line, where their efforts will be celebrated in style with a foam party, finisher medals and a music show.
Ooredoo Music Festival (08:00 pm)
Following the Fun Run, Ooredoo Maldives will be hosting a fun music show open for public featuring fan-favorites from the Maldivian music industry including:
