Faathey appointed as Parliament’s chief of bureau

Fathimath Mohamed Solih (Faathey) has been appointed as the Parliament’s chief of bureau.

The Parliament’s communication’s director Hassan Ziyau confirmed the appointment on Monday.

Fathey joined the civil service in 1986.

She worked at the President’s Office for around 37 years, during which time she served as a secretary to three former presidents; Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, and her brother, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
