Police raid RDC office

Maldives Police Service has entered the office of Road Development Corporation (RDC).

Police told Sun that they had entered RDC's office under a court order in connection with a case being investigated by the police

An RDC official could not be reached for comment. It is therefore unclear exactly why the police had to enter RDC. 

RDC is a company that has been accused of serious corruption cases. There have been several cases of theft from the RDC office and the loss of the safe.

Police have recently entered the FAM to investigate corruption cases. Some evidence was also taken from the office.
