Education Ministry, on Wednesday, said the results of SSC examinations and the results of IGCSE examinations were shared with examination centers across the nation at 9:00am and 10:00am this morning respectively.

As per the Ministry, the centers will issue the results to individual candidates today itself. Meanwhile, students who sat the examinations privately can receive their results from the Department of Public Examination (DPE) from 12:00pm onwards this afternoon.

Students who wish to re-check their results can apply for re-checking until August 31st, through their respective examination centers.

SSC examinations this year commenced on April 15th, followed by IGCSE exam on May 2nd.

A total of 6,107 students sat for SSC examinations this year, which is an increase of 444 students compared to last year.

Meanwhile, 6,698 students sat for IGCSE examinations this year, which is an increase of 759 students compared to last year.

The examinations concluded on June 8th.

Contrary to previous years, two main changes were brought to the examination this year.

While Islam Paper 2 is usually the first paper students sit in the examinations, it had been Islam Paper 1 this time around.

Although students had previously been able to sit the examination while wearing wristwatches during previous years, this time wristwatches were banned.
