Dhiraagu has signed as the digital partner for the Maldives National Bodyboarding League 2023 organized by the Maldives Bodyboarding Association (MBBA).
This year’s Maldives National Bodyboarding League 2023 will consist of four events which will be held in Male’ City, Fuvahmulah City and K. Thulusdhoo.
The first event of the league titled ‘Burunu Shikaaru Bodyboarding Challenge 2023’ will be held from June 17-23 at the Varunulaa Raalhugandu in Male’ City.
The remaining events are scheduled to be held later in the year.
Naiya Shareef, Assistant Manager, Brand, at Dhiraagu said the company is delighted to sign as the digital partner of the leage.
“We are happy to see bodyboarding continue to grow as a competitive sport in the Maldives and to see our talented local athletes ranked internationally,” she said.
Abdulla Areef (Fuku), the President of MBBA, expressed gratitude towards Dhiraagu for its continuous support towards the development of bodyboarding in Maldives.
“We would also like to thank the company for their digital assistance and high-speed connectivity which has allowed us to seamlessly host both local and international events alike, which has contributed to the establishment of Maldives as a competitive bodyboarding destination,” he said.
Dhiraagu says it remains committed to supporting the development of various sports and community engagement events across the Maldives.
