Dhiraagu has signed an agreement with the Athletics Association of Maldives (AAM) to become their exclusive digital partner for the year.
AAM is the governing body of track and field, road race and race walking in the country.
Through the partnership, Dhiraagu will support the promotion of different athletics competitions across the Maldives.
Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan said Dhiraagu places great importance on development of sports and youth empowerment of youth in the Maldives, and hopes to help create a new generation of local athletes through the partnership.
“We are delighted to be the digital partner of the Athletics Association of Maldives for 2023. Dhiraagu places great importance on the development of sports and empowering youth to be actively involved in different sporting activities. Through this partnership, we hope to help create a new generation of athletes across the country,” he said.
AAM’s General Secretary Ahmed Munthaqim thanked Dhiraagu for their support towards promotion and development of athletics in the Maldives.
“We would like to thank Dhiraagu for their support towards the promotion and development of athletics in the Maldives. We look forward to providing even more opportunities to youth across the country and taking the sport even further with Dhiraagu,” he said.
Dhiraagu states it remains committed to supporting and collaborating on projects which strengthen communities and empower youth through sports and recreation.
